Works of Van Gogh

Van Gogh's paintings are considered postimpressionist, his style was taken as an example in the subsequent development of abstract, fauvist, and expressionist art.

The pointillist brushstrokes and wavy lines of his paintings are considered sublime by experts, the painter not only mastered an innovative technique for his time but also managed to build a solid aesthetic proposal, in which impressionist strokes, surrealist contrasts, and forms with great expressive strength coexist.
