Sunflowers 1888-89, Van Gogh

It is unclear when Vincent van Gogh painted this version of Sunflowers, it is believed to be in the year 1888 or 1889. His taste for these flowers was almost an obsession for Vincent, not only did he paint them with all kinds of lighting and arrangement, but he also made several compositions of each arrangement. For example, in this other version of the Sunflowers, the same elements are shown with slight changes: 12 flowers in an oval vase, on a table. Currently, the work is at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, United States.
